Archaetnos cc was appointed by Urbansmart Planning Studio to assess the heritage importance of an historical house on portion 2 of holding 79, Crowthorne Agricultural Holdings. This is in Midrand which forms part of the City of Johannesburg, Gauteng Province.
The site was visited and a basic documentation of the building was done. This is coupled with basic background information in order to determine the heritage significance thereof.
It is concluded that the building is of medium-high heritage value. It may not be demolished. Any possible alterations thereto must be tabled to the Provincial Heritage Resources Agency of Gauteng (PHRA-G) for approval.
