Summary
Archaetnos cc was requested by Plan-Enviro CC to conduct a cultural heritage impact assessment on Portion 19 of the farm Stryfontein 477 IR. The site is located on the banks of the Vaaldam near the Shenanigan?s Rest Holiday Resort. The development of residential housing units is being planned on this approximately 10ha property.
The fieldwork undertaken revealed no sites, features or objects of cultural significance on the property. Therefore, it is recommended that the development can continue as it would have no impact on any cultural heritage resources.
