Summary
Archaetnos cc was requested by Plan-Enviro CC to conduct a cultural heritage impact assessment on Portion 141 of the farm Koppiesfontein 477 IR. The site is located on the banks of the Vaaldam, relatively close to the Vaal Marina. The development of a single residential housing unit is being undertaken on this 2 ha property.
The fieldwork undertaken revealed no sites, features or objects of cultural significance on the property. Therefore, it is recommended that the development can continue as it would have no impact on any cultural heritage resources.
