The project firstly entails the demolition of certain buildings on the property and the changes to others as part of the Mediclinic in Brits. The erven have already been consolidated. This lies between Church and Pienaar Street in Brits.
Some of the existing buildings on the properties are older than 60 years but has been adapted over the years to such an extent that it has no inherent heritage importance left. Also, nothing else of heritage importance was noted.
The applicable social consultation has also been done, consisting of site notices and newspaper advertisements. No comments were received.
