REPORT OF A SURVEY INTO CERTAIN SITES ASSOCIATED WITH STEINAECKER’S HORSE, KRUGER NATIONAL PARK
Steinaecker’s Horse was a voluntary unit who fought on the side of the British during the Anglo-Boer War (1899-1902). Some of the sites associated with this unit, was researched over the last 20 years. A few other sites are known, but the research potential thereof has not been determined. Also, some sites are known, but have not yet been physically located. The aim of this investigation therefore was to find these sites and to visit them in order to determine the research potential.
